2011 Verdelho $20.00 (SORRY! SOLD OUT) The fruit used to produce this wine was sourced from the Mason vineyard in Ballandean. The nose features fresh fruit characters of pineapple and passionfruit. The wine is made in a crisp acid driven style that makes a great refreshing drink. This is an unwooded, drink now wine that invites itself to lunch, especially after you have climbed the Pyramids! Try it chilled with sashimi tuna - it's a great match. Total production: 70 dozen |

2009 Chardonnay $20.00 (SORRY! SOLD OUT) Our first Chardonnay. This wine is made from fruit sourced from Jeff Harden in Ballandean. Matured in a combination of 75% stainless steel and 25% new French oak, both on lees for 9 months prior to bottling. A fresh modern style of chardonnay with crisp acidity and clean citrus and pineapple flavours. Try it chilled with pan fried whiting fillets. Enjoy!

2009 Merlot $22.00 Continuing
in our fruit driven style, this Merlot has the classic characters
of ripe cherries and plums with bright crimson hues. It features fine
soft tannins with juicy sweet fruit flavours. Minimal oak treatment
has enhanced the delicate varietal characters. Delicious now and given
good conditions will suit short term cellaring. Serve with Swiss brown
mushrooms, grilled haloumi, eggplant and dried tomato, wrapped in
proscuitto with truffle and parsnip mash. |

2009 Cabernet Sauvignon $25.00 (new release) This 3 barrel blend
is made from 100% estate grown fruit. Rich, ripe cabernet fruit gives
intense varietal characters of spearmint and blackberry. 20 months in
quality French oak contributes subtle spice and vanilla characters.
Our Cabernets really need a couple of years in the bottle to hit their
straps so those who can keep this wine stashed in a suitable place for
at least a couple of years will be well rewarded. Serve with marinated
lamb rump and Mediterranean vegetables. |

2009 Shiraz $30.00 This wine is made from 100% estate grown fruit. A combination of new and one year old American and French oak shows vanilla and coconut on the bouquet. A rich wine with elegant structure, fine tannin and good length make this wine very easy to drink. Great drinking now but will reward those who can keep it for at least a few years. This wine will show its best if decanted. Enjoy! Total Production: 90 dozen.

2010 MourvedreLimited
Release This wine
shows the classic varietal characters of spice and vibrant dark fruit
paired with a fine persistent tannin structure. It's a great expression
of the fruit characters of this variety. Maturation in a combination
of French and American oak has added complexity without dominating the
fruit. This is real hand made wine. From pruning to picking, crushing,
basket pressing, bottling and labelling - our hand prints are all over
this wine. Delicious now but has plenty of ageing potential if you can

2009 Bernies Blend $35.00
Bernies Blend is dedicated
to Bernie, father of Warren the winemaker, whose help and encouragement
have assisted greatly in the establishment of Pyramids Road Wines. This
3 barrel blend is a selection of some of the best barrels from our 2009
vintage. This year the blend is made up of one barrel of Mourvedre, one
barrel of Cabernet Sauvignon and one barrel which is a Shiraz, Cabernet,
Merlot and Mourvedre blend. This combination of varieties, in two French
and one American barrel gives a wine of remarkable character, just like
its namesake. Intense dark berry flavours combine with subtle toasty oak
to give a wine with real depth and complexity.While drinking well now
it will reward those who can put it away for at least a few years. Serve
with rib fillet rolled in herbs and porcini mushrooms. |

Wattlebird
Red (SORRY! SOLD OUT) This
is a light sweet rosé style red, made from our Merlot grapes. Minimal
skin contact has produced an easy drinking wine with a delicious combination
of softness and freshness. A drink now style that is best served chilled.
Try it with spaghetti or even your favourite
curry. |

Mistella $20.00 A
rich luscious fortified dessert wine made from sweet juicy Black Muscat
grapes. The juice has minimal skin contact producing wine with a delicate
salmon pink colour. The wine has a bouquet of Turkish delight and rose
